The Lab is Bursting with Excitement!
Hi Stitch Labs Friends,
We have so much going on in the lab, we just couldn't help but bring you in on a few things:
- Apparel News did an outstanding article about us late last month and we wanted to share.
- We have begun to "Spotlight" what we believe will be a great success story with our friend Brad at Solz Shoes.
- We continue to provide new ways to use Stitch so every business we work with can be even more efficient (Tuesday Tips).
- John and Laura have hit the scene in a major way!
Apparel News Article
We took a few minutes to have a discussion with our new friend Deidre Crawford from ApparelNews.net about how we're helping small businesses succeed. Click here to read the article. You won't want to miss it.
Company Spotlight
Our friend Brad Carrick, the Founder and CEO of Solz Shoes, has done an excellent job getting himself in position to launch his new product line. Brad is going to be our first human test case (don't worry, it's safe) on a company that uses Stitch from the very beginning. Brad has developed his idea for a roll-up shoe, secured manufacturing partners, and has now generated enough funding to place his first order. Because most of you are in product businesses, you realize how expensive it is to make your items. Luckily for Brad, he was able to raise his initial funding through an Indiegogo campaign. If you are an entrepreneur with a great idea, be sure to check out Indiegogo. It may be just the answer you need to secure the funding necessary to start your business. Join our blog and watch for our story on Brad as his business gets started. We have high hopes for him and are looking forward to helping his business grow using Stitch.
Stitch Blog
Every week we're dishing out best practices in our Tuesday Tip! This is a excellent resource and repository for our current and prospective partners to learn how Stitch can help their business. We recommend you subscribe to our blog so you're in the know. We also blog about other topics, like Stitch feature updates, and other ideas that are helpful for small businsses as well. If reading blogs isn't your thing, be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. Our blog posts go directly to these locations so you can pick and choose what information you want to receive from the lab.
John and Laura
Lastly, if you haven't stopped by the Stitch Labs website in a while, you are going to want to check out our friends John and Laura. We've used this first year as a business to continue to hone in on our customers' needs and, with the help of our friend Andrew Lassetter, we've really been able to tell the story about how Stitch is helping in a visual way. You'll quickly see, if you haven't already, that design is in our blood and we really want to help designers, artists, makers, and creatives run their business more effectively.
Wow, that's a lot of information. We couldn't help it. There's just so much to share. Next month, you are going to love hearing more about what we're up to. We have some major projects in the works and we can't wait to share more.
Until then, make Stitch happen!
