Mélange 2012: Looking for a new experience? Mélange blends fashion, music, theater and dance into a magnificent blend of entertainment. Designers and spectators are flying from all around the world to San Francisco to participate and to attend Mélange 2012. International designers and local talent are participating in this year's production; new designs from Versace Collection, Thierry Mugler, and more will also be presented by Bossini, a luxury boutique in Santa Clara. Mélange Productions is known for orchestrating a medley of artistic mediums that tell a story and transition flawlessly into high fashion runway segments of incredible clothing, for an evening of amazing entertainment. The United Nations, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has partnered with Mélange 2012 as a Tribute to Human Rights because of the companies mission to celebrate intercultural understanding and peace through the arts. It featured an original love narrative of two female protagonists, Angelica and Soledad, who bring each other to the near point of destruction, but are subsequently united through love and harmony. The two characters represented different energies of the universe—this allegory served to support Mélange’s mission of understanding individuals from diverse backgrounds. Throughout the story, Korean drumming, Bhangra, Hip Hop, and more was showcased. The following designers were featured in 2011 from around the world, ranging from international designers to local talent in San Francisco.
