COMES TO RANCHO MIRAGE
W.I.N. Foundation To Host
Woman From 40 Countries,
Shining A Spotlight On Abuse And Recovery
Rancho Mirage, CA - International beauty and empowerment will take center stage at the The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage in August - the setting for the 2012 Mrs. Globe Pageant.
From August 9th through the 18th, contestants from 40 countries will take part in rehearsals, theme dinners and parties, press events, panel discussions and recreation; culimating in a gala pageant to crown the 2012 Mrs. Globe on Saturday evening, August 18th.
A fundraiser for the non-profit W.I.N. Foundation, the 10 day-long event's mission is to raise awareness of worldwide abuse and spread self-esteem. The motto of the Mrs. Globe pageant is, "Where the Power of Beauty Changes the World".
Rene Dell'Acqua, renown local general and costmetic dentist and spokeswoman for W.I.N. Foundation, will host the world finals event on Saturday, August 18.
Dr. Tracy Kemble, Founder of the W.I.N. Foundation, said, "We are absolutely thrilled to be back in Rancho Mirage for the Mrs. Globe pageant; one of the most recognized names in the international pageant industry. We hope to produce 10 days of creative, quality events that offer both the enjoyment of competition and personal growth for our participants. Contestants for 2012 Mrs. Globe represent nations the world over and have competed in their home countries throughout the year to earn the chance to represent their country and culture in the pageant.
Scoring is done on the preferential ballot system via a panel of judges who will assign points in areas of personality profile, evening gown and swim suit competition.
The chosen winner will spend the next year traveling internationally as a spokeswoman for Mrs. Globe and to promote the W.I.N. Foundation.
